Get ready to experience The Magic of Christmas Movies! 🎬🌟

This year’s parade will bring to life your favorite holiday classics — from Elf and Home Alone to The Polar Express, Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, and A Christmas Story — all sparkling with festive lights and North Pole charm! 🎅🚂🎁

Enjoy marching bands, dancers, and performers as they recreate beloved movie moments and spread plenty of holiday cheer through the streets of Grottoes.

📅 Sunday, December 7th
📍 Parade Route: Along 6th Street between Aspen and Dogwood, ending as you pass Town Hall on Dogwood Avenue.
🕓 Lineup begins at 4:00 PM | Parade rolls at 5:00 PM

Then, head to Town Hall for our Annual Tree Lighting, plus cookies, cocoa, and photo ops with Santa! 🎄🍪📸

🎬 Parade Awards & Categories 🎬
Prizes will be awarded for the following:

🏆 Silver Screen Santa Award – For the float or performance that brings a holiday movie scene to life so perfectly, you’d swear it just rolled off the silver screen!

💡 North Pole Glow Award – For the entry that shines the brightest with twinkling lights, sparkling decorations, and pure North Pole magic.

🎶 Jingle Bell Jukebox Award – For the entry that hits all the right notes with music, sound effects, or movie-inspired tunes.

⭐ Star of the North Pole Award – For the overall showstopper that leaves everyone saying, “Wow! That’s holiday magic at its finest!”

🎁 Elf-tastic Star Award – For the group of children or kid-focused performance that brings joy, energy, and holiday spirit to the parade.

The Library Assistant works under the supervision of the Branch Manager and provides excellent customer service in person and on the phone, charges and discharges library materials, and issues library cards, among other important duties. The anticipated start date is the first week of December!
