The Town Council is the governing body for the Town, consisting of the Mayor and six Council members. Council members serve on various committees and chair specific areas. The Mayor presides over meetings and votes only to break a tie.

The Town Council meets the second Monday of the month at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers of the Grottoes Town Hall. Agendas are posted, meeting information and materials are available at the Town Hall or by phone at 540-249-5896.
