Volunteer Opportunities
Grottoes has a jam-packed year of events, and we need your help to bring them to life! Here are some of the key events where volunteers are needed:
Party in the Park: A lively celebration of music, food, and fun for the whole family. Help us make this a summer event to remember!
Memorial Day and Veterans Day Ceremonies: Honor our local heroes and veterans who have served our country. Volunteers are essential for organizing and assisting with these patriotic events.
Fall Festival at Grand Caverns: A community favorite filled with games, food, and seasonal activities. We need volunteers to help with everything from registration to guiding guests through the festival.
Senior Citizen Luncheon: A special event to show appreciation for our seniors. Volunteers will help with setup, serving or delivering food, and ensuring everyone has a wonderful time.
Judges for the Christmas Parade: We’re looking for 3 to 5 enthusiastic volunteers to serve as judges for this year’s Christmas Parade! As a judge, you’ll help select the most festive and creative entries, making this event extra special for the community. If you enjoy holiday spirit and have a keen eye for creativity, we’d love to have you join us.
Cookies with Santa after the Christmas Parade: A magical holiday tradition for kids and families. Volunteers assist with handing out cookies, helping Santa with photos, and creating a festive atmosphere.
Join the Fire Department or Rescue Squad
In addition to these special events, Grottoes’ Volunteer Fire Department and Rescue Squad are always looking for dedicated individuals who wish to serve their community. If you have a passion for helping others, this is a rewarding way to give back while also gaining valuable skills in emergency response. Whether you want to be on the frontlines or support from behind the scenes, there are plenty of ways to get involved.
