The Town of Grottoes will hold a Joint Public Hearing with the Grottoes Town Council and the Planning Commission on Monday, September 8, 2025, at 7:00 PM at Town Hall.
The purpose of this meeting is to gather public input on proposed short-term rental properties, as discussed during the August 11, 2025 Town Council Meeting.
The property owners of 706 Edgewood Street and 901 Riverside are each requesting a Conditional Use Permit to operate short-term rentals—commonly known as “Airbnb” or “VRBO” locations.
A public hearing will also be held during this meeting to hear feedback from residents regarding a request from Milstead Construction to purchase unimproved streets & town property.
