🟦➡️💚 TOTER SWAP IN PROGRESS
Meridian is continuing their efforts to collect the remaining green toters that were left behind — stepping in to finish what the previous company left undone. We really appreciate them going the extra mile!
đź’™ If you still have a green toter that needs to be picked up, just leave it at the curb and Meridian will get to it as they make their rounds. There’s no set schedule for these pickups, but they’re working their way through town.
🚨 Important: Toters must be out when they come through — this is a limited-time effort, and they won’t be circling back to pick up ones that weren’t out in time.
👷‍♂️ Two of the Meridian crew stopped by Town Hall today, and we had a productive conversation about some of the issues that have come up. They’re learning how Grottoes handles trash service — and we’re learning how to work with their system too.
🧾 A few quick reminders:
• Have your toter out the night before your scheduled pickup
• Not sure which day is yours? Check the sticker on top of your toter
• Corner properties: If your driveway is on the side or rear of your house, be sure your toter is visible from the road — the drivers may not know to look around the corner
• Meridian trucks use GPS tracking and take a timestamped photo at each stop, so if there’s ever a question about whether a pickup was missed, they can verify exactly when they were there
